Raye revealed that her sophomore album, ‘This Music May Contain Hope,’ is set to drop on March 27.
According to a press release, the album is set in four “seasons,” with each side of the double-vinyl representing a different season. The project will feature 17 tracks including the hit single “Where Is My Husband!”
Raye said in a statement: “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”
Raye also just kicked-off her 51-date sold-out arena tour, “This Tour May Contain New Music,” with shows planned for Europe, the U.K. and the United States. The U.S. leg of the tour begins on March 31. Raye was announced as a guest on Bruno Mars’ “The Romantic Tour,” kicking off in April and scheduled for stadium shows through the summer.
